The hermitage of Profitis Ilias Thesvitos (Prophet Elijah)

It is located at the highest peak of the island (269m.) southwest of Chora, from which the view is breathtaking. It was rebuilt in 1764 from the monk Neophito of Simi. The Kathisma (hermitage) has a small castle and a chapel of Profiti Ilias in the center, which celebrates on the 20th of July
