The Festival of Sacred Music first started in 2001 and takes place during the first 7 days of September. It is held in a small open air theatre just to the side of the Holy Cave of The Apocalypse and under the Patmian Religious School. Above at the top of the slope one sees the Holly Monastery of John the Theologian. The environment and the nature of our island are ideally combined with the religious music and songs.
It has presented numerous artists and choirs from Greece and abroad with music fitting of the event.
The Patmian Festival of Sacred Music offers its audience a quality summer experience.
